Greetings all the way from Beautiful COLORADO!!
Yes, you have heard right; yours truly has moved states yet again only after a year in Texas. It is a bitter sweet move to say the least. Texas has been so good to me with wonderful roomies, an awesome Church (shout-out to Watermark Community Church, Whoop Whoop!) and last but not least, my beautiful Community Group which equipped me to be confident in my next chapter of life :)
As I arrive here in Lone tree, Colorado it feels so good to be back with My Mom again, along with my excellent ‘car-packin, 12 hour passenger, never complainin’ sidekick Socheata Seu! As I embark on my journey to Costa Rica in approximately 8 days from now, I have decided that Colorado is to be my future home since I really don’t know where my life will take me post Costa Rica; as well as the 'unknown' realms of my financial situation....Which leads me to my current "mountain to climb" state of affairs: Financial Support.
For the past two months I have seen God providing for the bulk of my financial needs through the gracious hearts of my friends and family; So may thanks and praises to our dear Lord, He is so faithful!! However; with that being said, I am still in need of financial support for covering all my expenses while I am down there. I have fund raised enough to cover my Lecture phase of the trip, but not the outreach. Luckily, YWAM does not ask for the Outreach cost until August 1, so there is still ample time for God to do work!
For me to be able to serve the Lord and be a part of the second phase of the trip I need people to support me. I want to give you the opportunity to be part of what God is doing through me in Costa Rica. As I have shared before, I am passionate about those who are the less fortunate and want to make a significant impact on their lives, but I cannot do it without financial support.
Would you please Pray and Ask the Lord?
“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” -Acts 20:35
